AEROSMITH frontman STEVEN TYLER is walking his way to The Polar Express. The 56-year-old rocker and father of Lord of the Rings star Liv Tyler will be seen and heard in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of the Caldecott-winning children's book by Chris Van Allsburg. This dude won't look like a lady, however. In keeping with the holiday theme, Tyler will play one of Santa's elfin helpers. Polar Express tells the story of a skeptical young boy who is transported along with other children by a magical train to the North Pole. Tom Hanks stars as the Conductor. Tyler will also lend his trademark vocals to the film's soundtrack, which is comprised of original seasonal-themed songs, including the singer's 'Rockin' Around the World'. The Polar Express pulls into theaters nationwide on Wednesday, November 10.

This should be interesting. I have the book and it's a wonderful modern classic with beautiful illustrations. A nice story. I will catch it. It's being released on my baby's 18th b.day too!
